The study was conducted in the period 2019-2020 in plum plantations of RIMSA Troyan. The pomological and physico-chemical parameters of widespread and newly studied plum cultivars with different directions of use were studied. It was found that cv. 'Strinava’, 'Stanley’, 'Jojo’ and 'Elena’ have a dry matter of over 19%, and in 'Stanley’ and 'Jojo’ the total sugars are also at most 11.5-12.5%. 'Hanita’ cv has the highest content of titratable acidity (1.0%), all others are <1.00%. The large-fruited cultivars with an early ripening period 'C. Naibolya’, 'C. Lepotitsa’, 'Tuleu timpuriu’, as well as the later ripening 'Jojo’ have a well-balanced taste, glucoacidimetric coefficient of about 20, which makes them suitable for fresh consumption. 'Kyustendilska’, 'Elena’, 'Gabrovska’, 'Valevka’ cultivars have low fruit weight, the late ripening period allows them to accumulate a high content of dry matter, which makes them suitable for industrial processing and distillation.
